Summer in the mountains

Now that we can finally be outside for more than 20 minutes between rainstorms, I have been too busy to post. Well, that and, until this week I have been really busy working - whine, whine, whine.

In the last few weeks we've had lots of fun - like visiting Auntie Nancy and her tiny puppies (we love Barkley):
Playing dress up in the mu'umu'us that Grandma Mary sent from Hawaii:
Swinging on the ancient swing set at the Ranch (scary but this is actually an updated version from the one I was on):
and feeding carrots to Grandma Sid's horses - very fun since these horses are extremely spoiled and know exactly how to be nice to get more treats:
Now we can't wait until next week when it is the best time of the whole year - The Fourth of July! Hopefully the exciting pictures from those activities will come before the next major holiday...

Fun family time

The last week has been very busy and very fun for us. My whole family was able to be in the same place for almost 3 days. It was great! We went on a picnic to the park, hung out on Main Street and had lots of fun just laying around. Even though today doesn't really count, it is nice to have summer finally here! Today is a little cold and dreary, we'll be having soup & a movie I think...
